New Wooden Sliding Sash Windows were fitted throughout this property in Moseley, Birmingham. Here we take a look at the stunning ensuite where on of our sash windows takes centre stage. The property itself had the original wooden single glazed windows which needed replacing as they were drafty and didn't offer the best of security. We manufactured new box sash windows in the traditional method with wax cords, brass pulleys and lead weights and replaced all of the sash windows in the house. The georgian bars were slimmed down to 18mm to replicate the old sash windows.

New architrave mouldings were manufactured and fitted internally so the character of the property was kept both internally and externally. The new windows featured security stops and 24mm double glazed units for added security and energy effeciency, a perfect solution to bring this Birmingham home into the 21st century whilst maintaining its historical character.
