Bespoke Wooden Conservatory

This grand property in Shropshire was the childhood home of the current owners. Whilst the conservatory has seen better days the clients were keen to retain the stained glass windows in the new structure. The new conservatory was manufactured from engineered timber and accoya to fit the same base works as the existing conservatory was built on but with some slight alterations to the layout of the windows, taking out the transom line which was previously in eyeline looking out across the Shropshire fields that surround the property. This was removed and replaced with a narrow Georgain bar. 

 

The stained glass units were carefully removed from the existing conservatory, cleaned up and encaspsulated within new double glazed units to retain the character of the original glass but give all the benefits of double glazing.
